Three books, one spine
Each is built from the same 2024 outline, so a weak area in the practice examination
points at a numbered section in the study guide and a line on the revision sheet.
Book One
The Eight Domains — Study Guide
A complete walk through the eight domains of the information security common body
of knowledge, in the order the 2024 exam outline lays them out.
Domain ▸ task ▸ lesson, with each domain's exam weight shown
Every leaf of the outline covered — nothing silently skipped
Every claim below is a property the build enforces, not a promise about intent.
The answer key is balanced by construction
A printed book has no runtime shuffle to hide a lopsided key. Every build
redistributes the correct answer across A/B/C/D and fails if any letter
exceeds 30%. The current key sits at 27/25/21/26.
Written from primary sources
Lessons are written against NIST SP 800-series, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, FIPS, OWASP
and the RFCs. Third-party study guides were used as a coverage checklist only,
and a text-overlap audit is run on every batch to prove it.
Coverage is measured, not asserted
The spine is every leaf of the 2024 outline — 8 domains, 62 tasks, 278 subtasks,
292 lesson units. The domain weights sum to exactly 100%, which is the parse
validating itself.
Independent and unaffiliated
These are independent publications. No certification body has reviewed,
endorsed or approved them, and nothing here reproduces exam content.
